In colloquial Arabic-French, Kif Kif means ‘same-same’ or ‘it is the same thing’, and we’ll tell you more about our name. Moroccan food is loved the world over for being fresh, fragrant, healthy and hearty - all at once.
In a country with mountains and deserts, bustling cities and tranquil coasts, the vast diversity of our cuisine incorporates fresh garden produce, a variety of meats and sea foods, aromatic spices and herbs, and the goodness of olives, lemons, fruits and nuts. Over the years, Moroccans took traditional recipes, adapted them to Arab, Moorish, Berber and Spanish influences, perfected them in royal kitchens, and then made them staples of everyday living.
For us, food is an expression of love, generosity, and hospitality. It brings us great joy to cook and share good food. Urban Moroccan food features a combination of age-old recipes, street-style snacks, and family-style dishes, with modern twists. The difference is that it feels just like it was just made at home.
We did say at the start, we are Kif Kif.
